  • Billy

    My name is Billy!

I am about 10 years old and 70 lbs of cuddle bug! Even though I’m a senior boy, I still have some spunk! I’m friendly, affectionate, social, active and playful. Here is what my foster said about me:

Billy is a very sweet, older guy who still has a playful side! He loves playing tug of war or chewing on bones to pass the time. He'd probably still love fetch, but his back legs aren't the strongest and sometimes needs someone who can remind him to slow down.

When he does get sleepy, he'll want to be snuggling right next to you as he snoozes! He loves spending time with his person and wants to get in as much cuddling as possible. He has a couple manners he could work on (pulling on the leash, using dirty socks are fun toys), but he's very treat motivated and a quick learner. He's got sit down pat and already working on down! At the end of the day, he loves his person and just wants to make them happy (even if it means giving up his toy sock).

  • Phoebe

My name is Phoebe and I have a very sad story to tell.

It's one some senior dogs know only too well.

I was locked in a crate and abandoned with my brother by a tree.

My brother was adopted but they didn't pick me.

I sat scared and alone on a shelter concrete floor.

Very frightened that no one would ever love me anymore.

Then a rescue said sweet girl, we will help you.

We are sorry for everything you've been through.

We will get you all the vet care that you need.

And find you a family of your own to meet.

Don't worry pretty lady, we won't leave you alone.

We will do our very best to find you a forever home!

Phoebe is about 10 years old and 72 lbs. She likes to lay in the sun and be a couch potato. She walks nicely on a leash and tends to ignore other dogs (prefers those that aren't in her face but gets along well with other calm pups). Phoebe will need some time to feel safe and loved and may be shutdown until she decompresses because she's been through a lot in a short time.

  • Lloyd

My name is Lloyd and I’m a Redbone Coonhound! They say we make amazing family dogs or companions and I can prove it, just give me a shot!

I’m about 2 years old, 50 lbs and really I’m a very good boy. I’m playful, sweet and a bit of a goofball and I’ll keep you smiling! I’d make a perfect companion to take on adventures, hikes or walks or a great family pup playing in the yard with kids!
